Hey there!
I'm Raymond, a product designer at Whova.
I came into college as a computer science major, but quickly switched into UI/UX design after realizing it combined the affinity I had for visual aesthetics with problem-solving skills.
What I love most about design is diluting complex requirements into solutions that feel simple for the user but hide deep complexity under the surface. In my work as a product designer, I gravitate toward projects that involve messy inputs—complex flows, evolving product requirements, or dense data—and work to shape solutions that appear invisible to the end user.

In my downtime...
I enjoy playing grand strategy games 🗺️, reading sci-fi 🚀, surfing YouTube 📺, and architectural & landscape photography 📷!
When I have the opportunity, there's almost nothing I look forward to more than traveling to foreign countries to experience new cultures and capture unfamiliar sights. I find traveling not only inspires me as an amateur photographer but also as a designer.
